In the Vedic Tradition, Pitru Paksha is a yearly, fortnight period to honor our departed ancestors. It is the special time of year when the doorway between worlds is open and it is possible to connect with our departed family members in a deep way. This year Pitru Paksha is September 28th through October 12th. Special yagyas are traditionally performed during Pitru Paksha to nourish and bless our departed ancestors in the other world. By performing this yagya, we are able to connect with and bless our ancestors and simultaneously receive blessings from them in this world.  The yagya can be performed for the departed line of ancestors of the family or it can be performed specifically for one departed family member.  1 day yagya by 2 pundits is $95  3 day yagya by 2 pundits  is $161 11 day yagya by 2 pundits is $275 15 day yagya by two pundits is $351 This yagya can be ordered and scheduled throughout the 15 day Pitru Paksha period.
