The Maha Kumbha Mela is a mass pilgrimage of faith. It is held every 12 years at one of four holy cities of pilgrimage in India. Millions of pilgrims, saints and sadhus from every part of India and around the world, converge to take part in this cultural and religious observance.  The celebration of Kumbh Mela in 2016 will take place in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh at the bank of Shipra River.   My India Tours is offering a week long Kumbha Mela Yagya Tour from May 7-13th, 2016. The tour includes: Daily Kumbha Mela Yagya participation  Visits to religious shrines and temples Opportunity for ritual baths in the sacred River Shipra Discourses from saints Bhajans & festival parades  Evening worship of the river with flaming ghee lamps  Cultural Presentations Opportunity for Vedic Astrology consultations And more! We are offering economy and deluxe level accommodations. The economy cost is $1750 per person and deluxe is $2100 per person. *Cost includes 6 nights accommodations, meals, purified water and local transportation. It does not include international airfare to reach Ujjain, India. Participants should be in good health and able to comfortably walk 3-4 miles a day.
