Our  21 pundit Rudrabhishek Yagya will be held at the Eklingnath Shiva Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. This temple has a beautiful and unique Shivalingam (see photo left). Lord Shiva has been worshipped in the form of the Shivalingam throughout the ages.

The Shivalingam is the form that represents the infinite nature of Lord Shiva. The Shivalingam perfectly embodies the male and female energies of the universe-the powers of Shiva and Shakti.

The Rudrabhishek Yagya is the traditional yagya performed to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. The Shiva Lingam is given a ritual bath with Ganges water, milk, yogurt, honey, sandalwood paste and rose water. Then, vermilion paste and other precious herbs are applied on the lingam. The pundits decorate the lingam with flowers and garlands and offer incense sticks.

Waves of  peace, bliss and sanctity are generated through this ritual. The blissful energy of Shiva and Shakti is enlivened and spreads out as waves of desire fulfilling potential to bless the yagya sponsors.
